• Always carries the vehicle manufacturer’s logo
• Highest precision and strictest quality control

Perfect fit, maximum clarity, and guaranteed compatibility with ADAS systems.
This is the closest you can get to “brand-new from the factory.”

However, it is not selling for replacement normally. Unless over supply, manufacturer will sell it as Original Equipment – Service Part

• Made by the same OEM suppliers as Genuine OE
• Still carries the vehicle manufacturer’s logo
• Produced for service centers, not the assembly line
• Meets all official standards but may come from a different production batch

Reliable, high-quality replacement approved by the manufacturer.

In Auto Windshields, this is the most recommended grade that we use.

An official replacement part supplied through the vehicle manufacturer’s global after-sales network.

Some might not acknowledge by insurers or local manufacturer.

In Auto Windshields, this grade is used when OE Service grade not available, for example recon vehicle.

A replacement glass produced by the same factory that manufactures OE parts, but without the vehicle manufacturer’s branding.

• Often exported or sold through independent workshops
• Quality close to OE Service at a more economical price

High-quality option with excellent value, ideal when customers want OE-level performance without OE Service pricing.

A third-party brand approved by industry standards, insurance companies, or regulatory bodies.

• Not produced by an OE factory
• Certified for safety and quality (e.g., E-mark, R43, insurance-approved lines)
• More consistent quality compared to general aftermarket products
• Trusted by many workshops and insurers

A safe and reliable option backed by recognised certifications, offering good performance at a reasonable cost.

In Auto Windshields, this is the minimum grade we recommended to customer and will always advise customer before replacement.

A general aftermarket product manufactured without official certification or OEM involvement.

Characteristics

• Widely available on the market
• No vehicle manufacturer logo
• Quality varies depending on factory and production controls
• Generally the most affordable legal option

Budget-friendly replacement suitable for older vehicles or customers prioritising cost over brand or certification.

In Auto Windshields, we do not advise this grade of product normally, unless requested by customer. To date, we have replace less than 0.03% of this grade of glass.

An illegal imitation product that falsely uses manufacturer logos or misleading markings.

Characteristics

• Not made by an authorised factory
• May display fake OE branding, DOT codes, or safety certifications
• Quality and safety cannot be guaranteed
• Illegal in most markets

Counterfeit glass may compromise vehicle safety, visibility, and ADAS functionality. It is not recommended under any circumstance.

In Auto Windshields, we do not acknowledge any request on using this illegal grade product.
